“I just want a fair shot at 50 points per game,” says 6’10” equality pioneer

In a development that has left the sports world spinning faster than a Dwight Howard free throw, multiple anonymous sources report that former NBA star Dwight Howard is seriously considering identifying as a woman. This consideration is not for social reasons, mind you, but to “finally get some meaningful minutes” in the WNBA.
“I’ve done it all in the NBA — All-Star Games, Dunk Contests, questionable post moves — but I’ve always dreamed of being the first 6’10” center to average 60 points and 40 rebounds per game,” Howard allegedly told a close friend. This confession was made while doing calf raises in full Diana Taurasi cosplay.
Insiders say the 39-year-old is motivated by a “deep sense of competitive equality.” Additionally, there is a desire to rebrand himself as “Dwightina the Destroyer.” If successful, this could make Howard the most dominant WNBA player since never.
“He’s been practicing his layups at 30% speed,” said a source close to the situation. “He says he wants to ease into the league gracefully, maybe start off by only shattering one backboard per week.”
Critics, however, have raised concerns. Some WNBA fans fear that Howard’s transition could lead to a dramatic spike in blocked shots, post-game yoga selfies, and unrelenting chest bumps.
Meanwhile, Howard has reportedly been spotted shopping for extra-long sports bras and testing out gender-neutral pronouns like “Dom-inator.”
LeBron James weighed in, saying,

The WNBA has yet to issue an official statement. However, sources say league officials are “nervously checking every door frame” and “reinforcing the rims” just in case.
As for Howard, he’s confident. “This isn’t about fame or dominance,” he said. “This is about justice… and maybe finally getting that championship ring — even if it says ‘WNBA Finals MVP’ on it.”
At press time, Howard was seen rehearsing TikToks to Megan Thee Stallion. He was also working on a signature move called “The Gender Reveal Dunk.”
